Text Box: Parent/Guardian/Volunteer support is vital to all of the activities that the youth of the Jr 49er organization enjoy. Examples of specific support needed include, but are not limited to: Transportation to/from games. Providing lunches, water, and snacks for the players and spirit squads. Staffing the concession stand during home games. Overseeing players and spirit squad members who are waiting to play or lead spirit activities or whose competition is done. Assisting coaches with any emergencies that may arise. Providing assistance with Regional and other competitions. Planning and assisting with fundraising efforts and the end of the year celebration. Most of all, it is of great importance that parents/guardians be on hand to encourage ALL youth by cheering them on to victory at as many games/performances during the season as possible. The organization expects that each parent will remember that they are role models for our youth and must show respect for all.
