Mitey Mites is strictly a training division, completely free of any pressure to win, with a total emphasis on learning. The Mitey Mites participate in a regional bowl game at the end of each season. Based on the outcome, they may experience the opportunity of a trip to Orlando, Florida to participate in the Pop Warner Bowl.

The structure provides a uniform series of three basic years of age qualification for each division of play, with a fourth year of eligibility falling under more stringent weight restrictions (the "older/lighter" player).

Rules of play are governed by the rules established by Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc.
